Music Therapists List by Malaysian Music Therapy Association

Occupational therapists – Jacqlynn Teong, an occupational therapist, compiled a list of paediatric occupational therapists in Malaysia on her own initiative. The list (pdf) was updated in October 2020.

List of hospice and palliative care services in Malaysia by Malaysian Hospice Council

Malaysian CARE compiled a directory with an extensive list of governmental, non-governmental and private organisations that provide services to persons with disabilities in Malaysia. The list of hospitals is also included.

You are encouraged to use the search box to find service providers that suit your needs. Below are some suggested keywords to help you navigate the directory (please use 1-2 keywords):

  • State, example: Melaka, Pahang
  • City, example: Seremban, Miri
  • Type of disability, example: autism, dyslexia, rare (for rare disease)
  • Type of service, example:
    • “pemulihan” for community-based rehabilitation (PDK) centres
    • “speech” for speech therapy
    • “bengkel or workshop” for sheltered workshops
    • “thera” for occupational or speech therapy

Malaysian Information Network on Disabilities (MIND) has a directory that includes a list with many organisations providing support services to persons with disabilities in Malaysia. The directory has navigation buttons to filter results by state, age group and type of disability.
